ASTRONOMYOne of the things I use my machines for is to build devices that make it possible to photograph the night sky. My main objective is to reveal those objects that we could see if only our eyes were more sensitive. Many of my phototgraphs are taken with only a camera and ordinary lens mounted on one of my tracking drives.

Swiss Horizontal Universal mill

This milling machine was almost certainly made in Switzerland. It has no identifying marks and even the largest used machine tool dealer in Switzerland cannot identify it. When and by whom it was built is a mystery. It was originally line shaft powered.
